About Me

Hello! I'm currently a sophomore at Iowa State University, where I'm pursuing a Bachelor's in Software Engineering. My journey into programming started when I was young, thanks to my dad who helped me dive into coding. What began as a hobby quickly turned into a passion, especially after taking Python and Java classes in high school. Now at Iowa State, I'm not only excelling in my coursework but also meeting incredible people who inspire me every day. I'm eager to keep learning, take on new challenges, and grow both personally and professionally in the world of software engineering.

Over the years, I've developed skills in Java, C, Python, React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and I'm comfortable using tools like Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, Cygwin, IntelliJ, and Replit. Whether it's working on a project or exploring new technologies, I'm always excited to find creative solutions and push my boundaries.

Experience

Relevant experience in the student organizations and the workplace

GDSC Club

The Google Developer Student Club is all about helping members grow their technical and soft skills. As the Vice President and Treasurer, I manage the club's funds and actively seek out opportunities to raise money and support our initiatives. While also helping plan and lead meetings, I ensure the club thrives.

Hackathons

I participated in the BuildDSM V1 hackathon, organized by Kreative Horizon, as part of a team of four. We developed a React application that provides essential information on animal prescriptions using the FDA Green Book. Our project's technical complexity and innovative approach earned us the 'Best Technical Build' award.

Class Projects

There are many projects that I am not publishing due to them being completed as part of coursework. There are some of my univerity projects, however, that are not on standard rubrics, and thus can be seen in my portfolio below.
